Recipe Notes
Expert Tips for the Best Tofu Mancha
- For extra crispy tofu, ensure it's completely dry before coating and frying. Patting it down with paper towels helps achieve this.
- Don't overcrowd the pan when frying the tofu. Work in batches to ensure even browning and crispiness.
- Adjust the amount of chili garlic sauce and chili flakes to control the level of spiciness according to your preference.
- Experiment with different chutneys or dipping sauces to complement the flavors of the Tofu Mancha. A tamarind chutney or a spicy mint-coriander chutney would be excellent choices.
