Ingredients
For the Paneer Marinade:
- 200 gm Cottage Cheese indian cottage cheese. ensure it's firm.
- 1 cup Noodles any type of thin noodles will work. ensure they are thoroughly drained., boiled
- 2 tbsp Corn Flour also known as cornstarch.
- 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 2 tsp Schezwan Sauce
- 1.5 tsp Salt adjust to taste.
- 1/2 tsp Pepper ground black pepper, black, optional but recommended.
For Frying:
- 2 cup Vegetable Oil or any preferred cooking oil. use enough to shallow fry.
Instructions
Prepare the Paneer
- Cut the paneer into 1/4-inch thick cubes.
Marinate the Paneer
- In a bowl, combine cornflour, ginger-garlic paste, Schezwan sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Add the paneer cubes to the mixture and ensure they are evenly coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes, or longer for a more intense flavor.
Coat with Noodles
- Gently mix 1 tbsp of cornflour with the boiled noodles. This will help them adhere to the paneer.
- Press the noodles onto the marinated paneer cubes, ensuring each cube is fully covered.
Fry the Paneer Bites
- Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Carefully place the noodle-coated paneer cubes into the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.
