Ingredients
For the Papad
- 4 Papadum large size; brand like lizaa preferred, ready-to-fry
For the Masala Topping
- 1 medium Onion finely chopped
- 1 medium Tomato finely chopped
- 1 cup Coriander finely chopped, fresh
- 2 Chili finely chopped (adjust to taste), green
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tbsp Chaat Masala
- 0.5 tbsp Rock Salt sendha namak
- 0.5 tsp Salt table salt, to taste
For Garnishing
- 50 gm Gram Flour Fritters besan bhujiya, or other crispy fried chickpea flour snack
Instructions
Prepare the Masala Topping
- Chop the onion, tomato, cilantro, and green chilies finely.
- In a bowl, combine the chopped vegetables, lemon juice, rock salt, regular salt, and chaat masala. Mix well.
Assemble the Masala Papad
- Fry the papadums according to package directions until crispy.
- Spread the prepared masala topping evenly over each papadum.
Garnish and Serve
- Garnish with besan bhujiya or other desired crispy topping.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
