Ingredients
For the Papad
- 2.5 Papadums
- 1 cup Vegetable Oil for frying
For the Masala Topping
- 1 medium Onion finely chopped
- 1 medium Tomato finely chopped
- 1 Chili finely chopped (adjust to taste), green
- 100 gm Cottage Cheese indian cottage cheese, cubed
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds jeera, roasted
- 1/2 tsp Chili Powder (adjust to taste), red
- 1 tsp Chaat Masala
- 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste
- 2 tbsp Coriander finely chopped, for garnish
Instructions
Prepare the Masala Topping
- In a bowl, combine the chopped onion, tomato, green chili, paneer, lemon juice, roasted cumin seeds, red chili powder, chaat masala, and salt. Mix well.
Fry the Papadums
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan or kadai over medium heat. Carefully fry the papadums until they are crisp and golden brown. Remove and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
Assemble and Serve
- Spoon the prepared masala topping onto each fried papadum. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve immediately and enjoy!
