- 1/4 cup Gram Flour also known as besan
- 2 tsp Rice Flour
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- 1/2 tsp Chili Powder adjust to your spice preference
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida hing
- 1/4 tsp Baking Soda also known as cooking soda
- 1/2 tsp Mango Powder dried mango powder; for garnish
Optional additions
- 1 tsp Garam Masala for extra warmth and complexity
- 1/2 tsp Salt black, for a tangy twist (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Masala
- Mix gram flour, rice flour, turmeric powder, chili powder, salt, asafoetida, and baking soda in a bowl.
