- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 3 leaves Curry Leaves
- 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 medium Onion finely diced
- 2 medium Bell Peppers finely diced, green
- 2 Chili finely chopped, green
- 1/2 tsp Chili Flakes or to taste
- 2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 1-2 tsp Salt or to taste
Instructions
Prepare the Chili Sauce
- Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds; allow them to splutter. Add curry leaves, ginger-garlic paste, and onion. Sauté for 1 minute.
- Add green bell pepper and salt. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Add chili flakes, tomato ketchup, soy sauce, sugar, and green chilies. Stir well.
- Add the diced idlis. Stir gently for 1 minute to coat them in the sauce.
Assemble and Serve
- In a serving bowl or on a plate, layer some chopped cabbage.
- Transfer the cooked idlis onto the cabbage.
- Top generously with grated cheese.
- Serve immediately while the cheese is melted and gooey.
