Ingredients
For the Mangoli
- 1 cup Mango Puree raw
- 1 cup Sugar granulated
- 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour refined
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- 1 tsp Pepper Powder black
- 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala or to taste. can substitute with salt if preferred.
- 1/4 cup Blueberries fresh or frozen. optional filling.
Instructions
Prepare the Mangoli
- Add desi ghee to a heated frying pan. Add the flour and stir continuously until lightly browned.
Combine Ingredients
- Add the raw mango puree, sugar, and black pepper powder to the pan. Stir well to combine.
Cook Until Thickened
- Continue to stir constantly until the mixture thickens and becomes non-sticky, about 10-15 minutes.
Season and Finish
- Stir in the chaat masala. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool completely.
Shape and Fill (Optional)
- Once cooled, form small balls of the mangoli mixture. If using, gently press a blueberry into the center of each ball.
Serve and Store
- Arrange the mangoli balls on a plate or in an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator and enjoy whenever you like!
