Recipe Notes
Expert Tips for the Perfect Raw Mango Chikki
- For the best results, use a ripe but still firm raw mango. Avoid overly soft mangoes which may make the chikki too soft.
- Continuous stirring is crucial to prevent burning and ensure even cooking. Don’t leave the mixture unattended.
- Adjust the amount of sugar according to the sweetness of your mango. If your mango is very tart, you might need more sugar.
- Experiment with different nuts and seeds! Chopped cashews, pistachios, or sesame seeds would also be delicious additions.
