Kakrol with chili garlic sauce.
Kakrol is known as spiny gourd. It belongs to bitter gourd family but in taste it is quite different. It is not bitter in taste and skin also different. It is rich in protein, iron and low calorie. It is available in monsoon season.
Young generation has no idea about this vegetable. That's why I used chili garlic sauce to make it more tasty.
I removed the seeds from red chili then soaked in fruit vinegar overnight. If we remove the seeds it will not hot and spicy. Then make a paste with adding raw garlic. Then sauté with sesame oil. It can be kept for a few days. You have to just apply on any recipe.
