Each cocktail requires just three basic ingredients that are found in any bar and they have inspired countless other cocktails that have taken on the names. Between your refrigerators, the farmers market and the regular bar stock, you can make a plethora of some delicious margaritas

Ingredients
  

  • Glass: Martini glass
  • 45 ml Tequila
  • 15 ml Cointreau
  • 15 ml lime juice
  • 1 wedge lime
  • 15 ml sugar syrup
  • Garnish: Half a slice of orange

Instructions
 

  • Combine tequila, Cointreau, and lime juice in cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  • Moisten rim of Margarita or other cocktail glass with lime juice or water.
  • Holding glass upside down, dip rim into salt.
  • Shake and strain drink into glass and serve.
