Recipe by Usashi Mandal
Shrimp Biryani is a vibrant and flavorful dish that holds a special place in my Bengali kitchen. As a family of fish lovers, shrimp is always a favorite, and this biryani beautifully blends the delicate taste of shrimp with the rich, aromatic spices characteristic of classic biryani.
What sets Shrimp Biryani apart from its mutton or chicken counterparts is how easy and quick it is to prepare, without compromising on depth of flavor. The juicy shrimp, layered with fragrant basmati rice, fried onions, yogurt, and tomatoes, creates a restaurant-style experience right at home.
Serve this delectable shrimp biryani with refreshing raita or your favorite gravy side dish for a complete, satisfying meal that will delight seafood lovers and biryani enthusiasts alike.
