Recipe Notes

Expert Tips for the Perfect Tiranga Bahar

  • For a smoother texture, you can puree the green peas and chana dal before cooking.
  • Adjust the amount of green chilies according to your spice preference.
  • Toasting the cumin and coriander seeds before grinding enhances their flavor significantly.
  • If you don’t have desiccated coconut, you can use freshly grated coconut, but ensure it’s well squeezed to remove excess moisture.
