Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Stuffing 1 bowl grated cheese, 1 tbsp chocolate ganache, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tsp black pepper, 2 medium tomatoes chopped, few dark chocolate chips, or cream for fresh cream, salt to taste
- 1 bowl Whole Wheat Flour 1 bowl room temperature milk or as required to bind a dough, 1 tbsp fresh cream, 1 tbsp oil, 1 tsp yeast, 2 drops vanilla essence z salt to taste, or dough for dough, whole
Instructions
Prepare the Dough
- Combine whole wheat flour, yeast, salt, and sugar in a large bowl. Add warm milk, fresh cream, and vanilla extract. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Add olive oil and knead for another 2 minutes.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 45-60 minutes, or until doubled in size.
Make the Stuffing
- In a separate bowl, combine chopped tomatoes, grated cheese, chocolate ganache, chocolate chips (if using), honey, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
Assemble and Bake
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a round baking pan or cake pan.
- Divide the dough in half. Roll each half into a circle slightly larger than your pan.
- Place one dough circle in the pan.
- Spread the stuffing evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-cm border.
- Top with the second dough circle.
- Use a small glass to press into the center of the bread, creating a well.
- Using a sharp knife, cut the bread into 12 equal wedges, cutting from the center to the edge.
- Twist each wedge slightly outwards.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Brush with milk (optional).
- Let cool slightly before removing from the pan.
- Garnish with sesame seeds.
