The morning starts with tea or coffee and breakfast mainly has dishes full of oil and fats. All this increases excess fat in the body which may cause constipation, High BP, heart disease and much other toxic disorder in our body and increases weight rapidly. Out body is very much influenced by what we eat and drink and how we exercise and keep our body busy. A good start in the morning means a healthy body and mind. If you replace your Tea or Coffee habit with a hot drink which is very healthy, tasty and can cure a cough, cold and running nose . It is also effective in detoxifying your body to keep you fit and slim.

  • Fennel seeds - Sauf 1 tsp
  • Carom Seeds - Ajwain 1 tsp
  • Black pepper corn 4-5 seeds
  • cloves Laung 2
  • Cardamom - Choti Ellachi 2
  • Liquorice - Mulethi 1 pinch
  • long pepper - Pipply 2 seeds
  • Ginger - 2 gms
  • Tulsi - 8-10 leaves
  • 1 litre water


  • take 1 litre of water and boil it in the pan.

  • Take all the rest of the ingredients in the mortar and pestle and pound it gently. As mulethi is very hard so break it separately and keep the pieces in a jar and use ti when required.
  • pound ginger and add to it. Add tulsi leaves. Now boil it for 10 minutes
  • Strain it and enjoy the hot drink which is much better than tea or coffee. You can add Honey if you want. This drink will refresh your mornings


  • Do not throw the ingredients and if you still want to drink something which tastes like tea, Add skimmed milk and a spoonful of sugar and enjoy the cup of natural, healthy, hot beverage like tea.
