Mango Preparation
- 2 medium Mangoes ripe, for best flavor
Faluda Base
- 2 cup Milk whole milk recommended for creaminess
- 1/2 cup Vermicelli thin vermicelli noodles, also known as seviyan
- 2 tbsp Honey adjust to your preferred sweetness
Garnish
- 1/4 cup Fruits chopped mix of almonds, cashews, dry, etc., pistachios, raisins
- 1/2 cup Watermelon cubed or small balls
- 1 cup Water for boiling vermicelli
Instructions
Prepare the Mango Puree
- Blend 2 ripe mangoes with 2 cups of milk until smooth.
Cook the Vermicelli
- Boil 1 cup of water in a saucepan. Add 1/2 cup of vermicelli and cook for 1 minute at high heat, stirring occasionally, until tender but still slightly firm.
- Immediately rinse the cooked vermicelli under cold water to stop the cooking process and drain well.
Assemble the Faluda
- In a tall glass, layer a small amount of cooked vermicelli.
