Additional Tips
- For an extra layer of flavor, add a pinch of roasted cumin powder or crushed black pepper for a subtle earthy and spicy undertone that’s traditional in many South Indian summer drinks.
- If fresh raw mangoes are unavailable, you can use unsweetened canned mango pulp—just reduce the sugar slightly and adjust for tartness as needed.
- To make Aab Shola ahead of time, prepare a concentrated syrup with mango, sugar, and salt, and refrigerate; simply dilute with chilled water and ice right before serving for optimal freshness.
- Enhance the presentation by garnishing each glass with a sprig of fresh mint or a few pomegranate seeds, adding a pop of color and an extra refreshing touch.
