- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds zeera. also known as jeera.
- 1 tsp Fennel Seeds saunf
- 1 tsp Coriander Seeds dhaniya
- 1 tsp Carom Seeds ajwain
Liquid
- 2 cup Water
Optional additions
- 1 slice Lemon adds a refreshing citrus twist.
- 1/2 tsp Honey Or Maple Syrup to taste, for added sweetness

Preparation
- Combine 1 teaspoon each of cumin seeds, fennel seeds, coriander seeds, and carom seeds in a small saucepan.
- Add 2 cups of water to the saucepan.
Boiling the Tea
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the water has reduced to approximately 1 cup. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
Straining and Serving
- Remove from heat and strain the tea through a fine-mesh sieve into a mug.
- Add a lemon slice and/or a touch of honey or maple syrup if desired.
