Ingredients
Spiced Whiskey Infusion (Prepare in advance)
- 700 ml Whiskey bourbon or rye recommended
- 4 Cloves
- 2 sticks Cinnamon
- 2 Juniper Berries
- 3 Star Anise
- 5 Cardamom pods
Cocktail
- 35 ml Amarula Cream Liqueur
- 20 ml Whiskey see infusion instructions above, spiced
- 1 Cinnamon stick, for garnish
- Ice Ice cubes
Instructions
Prepare the Spiced Whiskey Infusion
- Combine whiskey and spices in a sealed jar. Let it infuse in a cool, dark place for at least 2 weeks, shaking occasionally. Strain the spices before using.
Make the Amarula Spiced Dram
- Fill a mixing glass with ice.
- Add Amarula Cream Liqueur and spiced whiskey.
- Stir well until chilled.
- Fine strain into a chilled champagne flute.
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
