Restaurant Style Rajma Masala

Rajma is one of the most popular curry of North India. Punjabi 's all time favorite curry. It is made with whole kidney beans.

Ingredients
- 200 gm Red kidney beans rajma
- 2 Onions
- 3 to matoes
- 8-10 garlic cloves
- 1 inch ginger
- 2-3 green chillies finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 - 2 cardamom
- Salt
- Oil for cooking
- Coriander sprigs for garnish

Instructions
- Wash and soak rajma in water for overnight or 7-8 hours. Add salt and enough water in rajma NC pressure cook it until 6-7 whistles or until cooked.
- Boil onion, garlic and ginger in a pan. Once cooled grind in a smooth paste. Grind tomatoes and green chillies separately.
- Heat oil in a Kadhai. Add bay leaf & cardamom. Saute it. Pour onion paste. Saute until it leaves oil and golden brown.
- Add tomatoes puree. Saute it until masala separates oil. Add all dry ingredients in masala. Mix well.
- Add Boiled rajma. Add water if gravy is very thick. Boil it.
- Once done garnish with coriander sprigs. Serve with Jeera rice.
