Restaurant Style Dal Bukhara
Ingredients
- 1 gm Black Gram 1 Cup urad dal full black
- 1/4 cup Chana Dal
- 2 Onions nos finely chopped
- 2 Tomato pureed
- 2 tbsp Desi Ghee
- 1 tsp Jeera
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 2 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 2 glass Water
- 1/2 tsp Kasuri methi
- 1/2 tsp Saunf fennel powder
- a asafoetida pich
- 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
- 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 2 tbsp Curd
- 1 tbsp Cream
- leaves Coriander

Instructions
- Pressure cook the dals with two glasses of water adding salt and haldi powder and hing till soft
- For tadka Take a thick bottomed pan add ghee and heat . To it add jeera let it flutter then add saunf powder add the chopped onions and saute it till golden brown
- Next to onions add ginger garlic paste and cook for till rawness of ginger garlic goes away . Add red chilli powder coriander garam masala powder saute and add pureed tomatoes curd and cream . Cook till oil separates
- To the tadka add the boiled lentils and simmer for 10 minutes on low flame . Open lids and sprinkle kasuri methi powder
- Garnish with coriander leaves and cream
- Serve hot with rice/roti
