Basic Iced Tea

  • 4 bag Tea Bags or 4 tablespoons loose leaf black tea, black
  • 4 cups Water

Lemon Iced Tea

  • 1 Lemon thinly sliced
  • 5-6 Mint Leaves fresh sprigs
  • 2 tbsp Sugar or to taste, powdered
  • Ice Cubes as needed
  • 2 cups Tea chilled, from basic iced tea recipe, iced

Mango Iced Tea

  • 1/2 cup Mango chopped, ripe
  • 5-6 Mint Leaves fresh sprigs
  • 2 tbsp Sugar or to taste, powdered
  • Ice Cubes as needed
  • 2 cups Tea chilled, from basic iced tea recipe, iced

Watermelon Iced Tea

  • 1/4 cup Watermelon chopped, seedless
  • 2 tbsp Sugar or to taste, powdered
  • Ice Cubes as needed
  • 2 cups Tea chilled, from basic iced tea recipe, iced

Instructions
 

Prepare the Basic Iced Tea

  • Steep 4 tea bags (or 4 tbsp loose leaf tea) in 4 cups of freshly boiled water for 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool completely. Refrigerate until chilled.

Make Lemon Iced Tea

  • In a glass, combine 1 thinly sliced lemon and 5-6 fresh mint sprigs.
  • Gently muddle the lemon and mint to release their flavors.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar (adjust to taste).
  • Add ice cubes.
  • Pour in 2 cups of the chilled iced tea.
  • Stir well to combine.

Make Mango Iced Tea
