Easy chole masala recipe with minimum ingredints made in restaurant style.one of the most simple indian recipes to make chana masala with a delicious gravy that goes great with roti,bhatura,naan poori, and even wirh.plane basmati rice or variety rice like jeera rice,biryani rice ghee rice.there are so many ways a chana masala is prepared ,this is the one that is our favirite at home and tastes like a restaurant style gravy.

Ingredients
- 1 cup chole/ chickpea soaked overnight
- 1 tbsp oil/ butter
- 1 bay leaf 1 inch cinnamon stick
- 1/ 2 tsp cumin seed 1 onion finely chopped
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste 2 tomatoes finely chopped
- 1 tbsp kashmiri chilli pwr
- 1/2 tsp turmeric pwr 1 tsp coriender pwr
- 1 tsp cumin pwr 3/4 tsp amchur pwr / dry mango owr
- Salt 1 tsp, 1 tsp garam masala
- 2 tsp chana masala
- 2 cup water
- 2 tsp coriender leaves chopped
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice optional

- Add tomatoes and saute till they start releasing oil. Now add chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, aamchur powder, garam masala chana masala salt. Saute for a minute. Then add soaked chickpea. Make sure to soak chickpea overnight.
- Add 2 cups of water. Add more water if you like it to be more gravy. Mix it properly. Make sure the masala water to be slightly salty as chole will absorb while cooking. Pressure cook for 7-8 whistles on medium flame.
- Allow the pressure to release by itself before opening cooker. Squeeze lemon and mix well. Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Thali or with kulcha ,or any other dish.chole that is served with bhatura is more flavourful than the other variety of chana masala.
