A Party Snack with a healthy twist. When tempting Indian snack pakoda, is prepared using super food Quinoa it makes a super snack. This is also a Healthy Snack for Kids when they want to binge on junk food and want something fried. Then the option is to add some healthy ingredient to it.
Wash & boil the Quinoa - this should take about 15-20 mins on a medium flame.
In a bowl, add the grated paneer, cooked quinoa, sliced onions, and spice powders, salt to taste and mix well.
Add the finely chopped coriander and curry leaves.
Add rice flour, gram flour and baking soda.
Heat 1 tbsp oil and add this oil when it is hot to the mixture above.
Mix all the ingredients and add in a few tsp of water to get a batter consistency.
Heat oil in a wok to fry the batter, drop the batter into the hot oil and fry till golden brown.
Serve hot with ketchup or mint chutney.
