Ingredients for Sabudana Tikki / Sago Vada

  • Sabudana 2 cup
  • Boiled potatoes 2 nos
  • Peanuts 1/2 cup
  • Chopped green chili 1 tbsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Dry mango powder 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Oil for frying

How to cook Sabudana Tikki / Sago Vada

  1. Soak the sabudana for 4 hours at least.
  2. Mash the potato, coarsely grind the peanuts. Now mix the sabudana with mashed potato,salt,red chili pwoder, coriander leaves, coriander powder, dry mango powder, lemon juice, green chili and peanuts.
  3. Mix well and make thick mixture.
  4. Make the tikki with this mixture, heat the oil in a pan and golden fry the tikki on slow heat.
  5. Serve with curd and green chutney .
