Orecchiette Broccoli and tomatoes is authentic Italian recipe, simple and easy to make. Generally it’s made with fresh dough or dry pasta and super combination of broccoli rabe. Here I replaced Broccoli Rab with broccoli florets.
Yield / Serves
Orecchiette pasta - 200gm
Broccoli - 100 gm
Cherry tomatoes - 50 gm
Italian mix herb - 1 teaspoons
Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Olive oil - 2 tablespoon
Cream cheese - 2 tablespoon
Parmesan cheese powder - 3 tablespoon
Fresh basil leaves and Parmesan for Garnish
Garlic clove - 2-3
Boil orecchiette with little salt. Drain and keep warm
Blanch broccoli with pinch of salt. Drain and keep aside.
Heat a frying pan with Olive oil and add chopped Garlic and cherry tomatoes halves. SautÃ© it. Season with salt, pepper and Italian mix herbs.
Add boiled pasta and broccoli into pan. Stir well. Cook for 15 minutes
Now add cream cheese and Parmesan cheese in pasta stir well and cook for 3 minutes.
Orecchiette pasta with broccoli and tomatoes is ready to serve. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and fresh Parmesan slice.
