Ingredients
For the Chicken Marinade
- 1 kg Chicken Breast boneless, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 200 gm Yogurt drained yogurt, greek yogurt, hung
- 4 tbsp Cream fresh, heavy cream
- 30 gm Cream Cheese
- 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste
- 1 cup Coriander finely chopped
- 1 Egg large
- 2 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 3 Chili finely chopped, green
- 1 tsp Pepper Powder white
For Cooking
- 2 tbsp Gram Flour besan
- 2 tbsp Butter unsalted
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 stick Cinnamon Stick
- 2 Cardamom Pods green, lightly crushed
- 1 tbsp Chat Masala for garnish
Instructions
Prepare the Marinade
- In a large bowl, combine the cubed chicken breast, hung curd, cream, cream cheese, salt, cilantro, egg, ginger-garlic paste, white pepper powder, and green chilies. Mix thoroughly to ensure the chicken is evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.
Sauté the Spices and Flour
- In a pan, melt the butter and heat the oil. Add the cinnamon stick and cardamom pods. Sauté for a minute until fragrant. Add the gram flour and sauté for another minute until lightly browned. Add the mixture to the marinated chicken and mix well.
Cook the Kebabs
- Preheat your oven to the highest temperature for 10 minutes. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers. Place the skewers on a baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes, brushing with oil or butter halfway through. Alternatively, grill over medium-high heat for approximately 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally.
