Ingredients for Besan Ka Cheela

  • GRm flour 2 cup
  • 1 large size boiled and mashed potato
  • 2 tbsp grated carrot
  • 2 tbsp grated onion
  • Finely chopped green chili 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp or to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Dry mango powder 1 tsp
  • Oil for frying as required

How to cook Besan Ka Cheela

  1. Strain the gram flour and make a batter with adding water .
  2. Add salt,red chili pwoder,green chili,coriander,onion,carrot,potato,lemon juice and mango powder.
  3. Heat the non-stick pan Now pour a ladle full of batter onto the pan and lightly use the ladle to spread the batter into a circular shape from the center outwards. Make a circle cook a minute.
  4. Drizzle with a little oil and lift the edges of the Cheela to allow oil to go under it. Flip now and cook till the other side is golden too.
  5. Serve hot with green chutney,pickle or curd.
