Ingredients
  

  • 20 - 25 spinach leaves
  • 1-2 Salt or as per taste
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp green chili paste
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 pinch turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander pwoder
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp dry mango powder
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • Oil for frying
  • 1-2 tsp garam masla

Instructions
 

  • Mix the gram flour and spices together to make a thick and smooth batter instead of using oil.
  • Now, apply the mixture onto spinach leaves one by one, making a bundle of at least 4 leaves. Steam the roll in a steamer for 15 minutes.
  • After steaming, allow it to cool, and then cut it into round pieces.
  • Heat the oil and fry the patrode until golden and crisp.
  • Serve hot with green chutney and tea.
