Baby corns are the vegetables I like the most. I always prefer to add them while cooking . This time I tried to prepare starter " Crispy Baby Corn" perfect for party and evening tea time. It's so easy to make with just few ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 200 gms blanched baby corn
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 Teaspoon red chilly flakes
  • 1 Teaspoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Rice flour
  • 1 tablespoon all purpose flour maida
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Very first thing we have to do is blanch baby corn and keep it aside. for blanching just cook baby corn in boiling water for 5 min either on microwave or gas
  • Now in a bowl add olive oil, ginger garlic paste, red chilly flakes, oregano, chopped parsley, tomato sauce and salt now mix all ingredients nicely and add cooked baby corn in this marination and keep a side for 15 minutes
  • Heat a oil in pan for frying In another bowl mix rice flour and maida. now add marinated corns in this. once baby corn is nicely coated with flour mixture deep fry this till it is cooked from all side.
  • Crispy baby corn is ready, serve it with chat masala, sauce or chutney of your choice

Notes

while frying take care that the excess flour should not go into the pan so before putting baby corn into the pan just tap it little bit so that the excess flour is removed.

  1. Very Good… One suggestion M’am.. I don’t blanch the baby corns as they are tender.. .I also add corn flour for more crispiness.. I first half fry them and after they become little warm I re dust them in flour mixture and re fry them.. they become crispier.. 🙂 5 stars
