Aavarm poo in Tamil and in English its botanical name is Cassia auriculata. This is an ancient herb found in India. It has lot of medicinal property. This is a must have herb in kitchen. It helps in curing diabetics, rejuvenate your body and it controls PCOD to an extent. I've heard my grandmom telling this flower is very good for uterus and hair also. There is also an old proverb "aavaram poothu saavai kandathu undo" means " there is no death for one who uses this flower.

Ingredients
- 100 gm Peas green
- 100 gm Green beans
- 100 gm Carrot
- 1 cup Coconut grated
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 4 Red chilies
- 1 teaspoon cumin seed
- 1 teaspoon Toor dal
- 1 cup Toor dal boiled
- 8 to 10 Avarampoo flowers fresh, (Tanner's cassia)
- 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1 pinch Asafetida

Instructions
- Remove the stem of avaram poo, wash and keep it aside.
- Boil all veg with salt and water
- Grind a table spoon of grated coconut , two red chilies, half tsp toor dal and black pepper corn to a fine paste with little water.
- Add half cup mashed toor dal and stir well with avarampoo.
- Mis well and cover it for five minutes.
- Temper with mustard seeds and hing.
- Serve hot with roti, naan, phulkas or rice.
