Methi Mushroom is spicy & nutritious Indian curry. It's beneficial for diabetic. Very easy to make.

Ingredients
- 10 - 12 button mushrooms
- 1 cup chopped fresh methi Leaves or 2-3 tbsp dry kasoori methi
- For gravy : 2 Onions
- 2-3 to matoes
- 1 teaspoon green chili finely chopped
- 5-6 garlic cloves
- 1 inch ginger
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1 bay leaf
- 2-3 cloves laung
- 1-2 green cardomom
- Salt
- Oil
- For marination
- 1/2 cup curd
- 1 /4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Instructions
- Wash mushrooms 2-3 times in water. Cut in pieces.
- Beat curd in a bowl.
- Add all spices of marination. Mix well.
- Add mushrooms. Mix all properly. Keep it aside to marinate for 30-40 minutes
- Meanwhile cut onions & tomatoes. Grind onions, garlic in a mixer grinder. Grind tomatoes and green chillies separately. Keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a Kadhai. Add cloves, cardamom, bay leaf. Saute it for a while.
- Heat oil in a Kadhai. Add cloves, cardamom, bay leaf. Saute it for a while. Add onion paste. Saute until it turns into brown and starts leaving oil. Add tomatoes paste. Saute until it starts leaving oil. Add all dry spices. Saute all
- Add marinated mushrooms along with curd Masala. Stir all.
- Add methi Leaves & 1/2 cup water. Mix all properly. Cover the lid and cook over medium to slow heat until mushrooms cooked.
- Check it in between. Once mushrooms get tender. Switch off gas.
- Serve with chapati or Jeera rice.
Notes
Thus recipe is very simple but some patience and time is required. It can also be made in parties.
