Anti Heatstroke Tamarind Drink

This is a excellent drink to prevent heatstroke in summer. Tamarind has such a nice medicinal property to treat heatstroke, Headache due to hot weather and bleeding from nose. This Drink is described in our ancient ayurvedic granth also.

Ingredients
  

  • Tamarind - 25gm
  • Castor Sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Black Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cardamom powder 1/8 teaspoon
  • Water - 400ml
  • Mint leaves for Garnish

Instructions
 

  • Soak tamarind in 100ml lukewarm water for 30 minutes.

  • After 30 minutes, mix well tamarind with water by fingers.

  • Strain tamarind pulp and water mix through the sieve.

  • Take a strained liquid in a mixing bowl and add Castor sugar, cardamom powder and black salt. Stir well.

  • Take 4 tablespoon tamarind mix in (salted rim Garnished) serving glass.Add chilled water in it. Mix it and garnish with fresh mint leaves. One can add ice cube in it also.
