My mother taught me to make this dish Pal kozukattai. This is a dish made from rice flour and coconut milk. I luv Pal kozukattai when mother use to make it. Now sometimes i use to make for her.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup rice flour
  • 1/2 tspn ghee
  • 1 cup thick coconut milk
  • 1 cup thin coconut milk
  • 2 tblspn jaggery
  • 2 tspn sesame oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat the milk and add pinch of salt. Stirr it. Now add rice flour and keep stirring so that lumps may not form. But the flame should be on medoum heat. While stirring add ghee. Keep stirring so that it doesnot get burnt from the bottom.
  • When it starts getting thickened and turns into a dough, switch off the flame. Now transfer it to the bowl. Add 2tspn sesame oil and make i to a soft dough. Keep it covered so that it may not get dry.
  • Now take a flat pan. Grease your palm and make tiny balls of the dough. I have roasted these tiny balls on the flat pan for 1min on low flame. Now take a heavy bottom pan. Pour the thin coconut milk in it. When it starts boiling add half of the balls
  • After 2 or 3 mins when rice balls starts floating on top add rest of the balls. Stirr it continously and when milk gets thickened add 2tblspn grated jaggery. Let it boil and stirr it. Now add thick coconut milk and keep stirring continously.
  • Off the flame.. Sweet and delicious Pal Kozukattai is ready to serve.
