Vrat Wale Aloo is a special recipe which is consumed or eaten during fasting. It is a simple and delicious aloo sabji, perfect recipe for fasting with no onion and garlic.
In this the potatoes are cooked and crumbled and sauteed in tomato spice mixture.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Potato large peeled and cut into cubes
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ajwain seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin seed
  • 2 Green Chili chopped
  • 1 Tomato large, chopped
  • Rock Salt to taste
  • Water as required
  • 1-2 tbsp Oil

Instructions
 

  • Pressure cook the potatoes for 3-4 whistles.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add the ajwain and cumin seeds and let them crackle.
  • Add the green chillies and fry for a min. Add the tomato, salt and fry till it turns mushy.
  • Add the potatoes and crumble them with help of stapula.
  • Add required water, cover the pan and cook in medium heat for 5-10 mins and take off the heat.
