Gnocchi chaat is fusion of Indian and Italian flavour. It is sweet, tangy and hot so satisfues all taste buds .

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup potato boiled, mashed and passed through sieve for smooth paste
  • 1.5 cup maida more if dough is sticky depending upon potato
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder roasted
  • 2 tbsp oil

Ingredients for chaat

  • 4 tbsp thick curd mixed with salt and sugar
  • 4 tbsp Sweet Sauce sauth chutney
  • 2 tbsp Green chutney mixed with 2 tbsp mayo
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds
  • 2 teaspoon nylon sev
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon black salt
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 5-6 slices cucumber

Instructions
 

  • For Gnocchi in a bowl mix potato mash, maida, egg, salt and pepper and cumin powder
  • Knead it into a smooth dough
  • Make logs out of it. Cut in 2 cm pieces.
  • Place each piece on fork and give it shape of gnocchi.
  • Boil water in a sauce pan. When it comes to boil add gnocchi to it . As soon as it come on top of water strain it. Add oil (1tsp) to it and mix well so that it doesn't stick.

  • Now heat a pan. Add oil to this and sauté gnocchi for few mins and keep aside.
  • Now in a bowl mix green mayo chutney, sauth chutney, black Salt, cumin powder, chilli flakes and mix well .
  • Add cooked gnocchi to it and mix well.
  • Take a round cookie cutter. Line it with cucumber slices from inside. Then add gnocchi mix .leave for 5 mins in fridge and then remove cookie cutter.
  • Sprinkle pomegranate seeds, nylon sec and serve.
