  • 8 - 10 Malabar leaves
  • 1/4 cup gram flour
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried mango powder
  • Salt
  • A few tooth pick
  • Oil for shallow fry
  • 1 cup prepared fillings

  • Make a semi consistent batter with adding gram flour, rice flour, salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, one tsp oil and mango powder.

  • Take each leaf stuff with one tbsp prepared fillings.

  • Fold three edges prick with tooth pick so the fillings will not come out.

  • Do the same process with every leaf then dip into the batter and shallow fry. Turn and fry both sides.

  • Now it is ready to serve. It can be served as a snacks or with main course.

Notes

Filling is made by mashed potatoes, chpped green chilli, roasted Cummins powder, roasted Corrientes powder, boiled green peas and salt. Make a stir fry.
