  • 1 cup Gram black
  • 3 cup Rice idli rice
  • 1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds, for better flavor, optional

Instructions
 

Prepare the Idli Batter (if not using leftovers)

  • Soak urad dal, idli rice, and fenugreek seeds (if using) separately for at least 4 hours. Drain and grind into a smooth batter. Let the batter ferment for 8-12 hours.

Prepare the Tandoori Marinade

  • In a bowl, whisk together the yogurt, salt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, tandoori masala, garam masala, cumin seeds, and coriander powder.

Marinate the Idlis
