About this Recipe

Oo mugi is a very high fibre content . It has so many vitamins and minerals. It is good for heart health , it protects us from diabities. So it is best whole grain for us . When I got this healthy product under belly nirvana programme I felt excited to using it . So i have made first recipe for my kids .

Ingredients & Quantity
  • Half cup oo mugi soaked for 3 hours in sufficient water
  • oil
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • 1 carrot finely chopped
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 green chilli finely chopped
  • 1 small tomatoes finely chopped
  • Brown bread pieces
  • Salt as per taste
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp
How to cook?
  1. First drain all water from oo mugi and keep it on strainer . Keep this aside .
  2. Now take a pan, add oil then add cumin seeds , when seeds starts crackle add finely chopped onion , carrot and tomatoes. Cook until they becomes tander . Now add salt and black pepper powder. Mix well . Now add o mugi and cook it for 5 minutes .
  3. Now take brown bread slices and cut the aides of the bread . Flatten these slices with roller . Now take a bread slice and put oo mugi mix on bread slice and make a roll . Repeat this process with remaining bread pieces .
  4. Now take a pan , add 1 tsp oil and put bread roll on this . Cook from both sides . Oo mugi brown bread rolls are ready . Serve hot with sause .

Notes

U can use tortilla also instead of bread . 

Add veggies of your choice .
