Addition of besan to the lauki kheer has made this a yummy creamy delight!

Ingredients
- Milk 1/2 litre
- Grated Bottle gourd 1/2 cup
- gm flour 1/4 cup
- Sugar 1/4 cup or as required
- Cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon
- Chopped almonds a handful
- Ghee 1 tablespoon

Instructions
- Dry roast the gram flour and Keep aside.
- Take ghee in a kadai. Add the bottle gourd and cook for ten minutes till it's water evaporates and it's almost cooked.
- Boil milk in a pan. Add the bottle gourd and cook for 10 minutes till it's fully cooked. Keep stirring in between.
- Dissolve the gram flour in little water and add to the pan. Cook for 5 minutes and stir so that it mixes well and doesn't stick to the bottom.
- Add sugar, cardamom powder and almonds .mix well.
- Simmer for 10 minutes and switch off the flame. The kheer will thicken more on cooling.
- Serve it warm or chill it in the fridge and serve.
Notes
Add sugar as per your taste Dry fruits can be added to the kheer.
