Celebrity Chef Shazia Khan, made a very simple, delicious and easy grilled starter for your guests which you can make in a jiffy. Grilled Cottage Cheese with Cheery Tomato and pineapple relish would definitely steel the show.

Ingredients & Quantity
  • 500 Gms cottage cheese/ paneer (Cut into Round Shape)
  • 1 each Red, Green, Yellow Peppers (diced)
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • For Marination
  • 1 tsp Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Coriander Paste
  • 1 tsp Yellow Chilly Powder
  • 1 tsp Kasoori Methi Powder
  • 2 tsp Chat Masala
  • 1 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 50 ml mustard oil
  • 50 ml any vegetable oil
  • salt
  • For Pineapple and Cherry Tomato Relish
  • 4 pineapple slices (grilled and diced)
  • 12 -15 Cherry Tomatoes (cut into halves)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 dried red Chillies (broken into halves)
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 stick of cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt

How to cook?
  1. For Marination - In large bowl combine the ingredients for the marinade.
  2. Add the Panner and the peppers. Allow to marinate for 1/2 hour
  3. Heat the butter in the frill pan and grill the paneer and the peppers
  4. For Pineapple and Cherry tomato relish
  5. Heat the oil in the saucepan and when it is hot put in the chilli, cumin and cinnamon and fry it for 30 seconds
  6. Add the pineapple, sugar and salt and cook for about 5 minutes.
  7. Now add the cherry tomatoes and cook for the minute till they are soft
  8. Style your plate as shown in the picture and your dish is ready to be served.
