Many people do not like Karela (Bitter Gourd) due to its bitterness  but Karela has lots of health benefits and hence this recipe is would help you to find the solution in between and put the healthy option in front of your family members. thanks to my Mother-in-law who taught me this recipe.

Ingredients & Quantity
  • 10 bitter gourd (Small shaped)
  • 5 tbsp curd
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Fennel seeds (Sauf)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 5 tbsp cooking oil
How to cook?
  1. Take curd and mix all the ingredients (spices)
  2. Barwa Karela (stuffed Bitter Gourd) - In 4 Steps
  3. Slit Bitter Gourd and fill this mixture of spices.

  5. Let it marinate overnight for best results.

  7. Heat the oil in wok and cook it for 30 mins, stir it occasionally so that it doesn't burn. Serve it with Rice and Daal.
