Banana flowers tikki in desi style As we know that banana flowers are eatable and it has nutritional value. I made tikki in a desi style that is wrap with turmeric leaves. Either bake in iron tawa or earthen pot. Without any extra spices it has an earthen flavour (mitti ki khushbu).

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup boiled banana flowers
  • 1 boiled raw banana
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 teaspoon chopped raw turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
  • 1 teaspoon radhuni seeds
  • 1 teaspoon mustard oil
  • 1 tablespoon mustard sauce
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • Boil the chopped banana flowers and raw banana. Mash them together with chopped green chillies chopped ginger and turmeric.

  • Now heat the iron tawa add mustard oil and radhuni seeds. Add the mashed banana flowers and salt. Saute for a minute.

  • Now wrap with turmeric leaves and bake on iron tawa or earthen pot. You will feel the earthen flavour. Then serve with steamed rice.
