This recipe is just like our pickles. Burmese don't like chapatis like us. They like steam rice, fried rice. This dish is a good combination with rice. I had this recipe in Burma.

Ingredients
  

  • 100 gm dry shrimp
  • 250 gm onion chopped
  • 50 gm garlic chopped
  • 10 gm red chilli flakes
  • 250 gm ground nut oil
  • Salt to taste

  • First of all wash the dry shrimp with warm water. Soak for ten minutes.

  • Now heat oil add chopped garlic to fry. Then add chopped onion to fry.
  • Add soaked shrimp red chilli and salt. Mix well and stir fry continuously. It should be dehydrated and kept in a glass jar.
  • The dish is ready to serve. It can be served with chow chow or rice.
