Grapes And Lemon Slushie

Generally slushie also know as slush puppie is crushed ice with some flavored liquid on top. This grapes and lemon slushie are made directly from frozen grapes. It acts as a best cooler during summer. It is delicious and retains the natural nutrients of the fruits. Enjoy this with or without sugar according to your choice. All you need to do is blend and serve immediately.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ½ cups seedless black grapes
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon organic sugar

Instructions
 

  • Clean and wash the grapes.
  • Spread the grapes on a plate aligned with parchment sheet. Leave enough gaps between the grapes.
  • Freeze the grapes for 1 ½ hour to 2 hours.
  • Just before taking the grapes out of the freezer, mix lemon juice and sugar. Allow the sugar to get dissolved completely.
  • Keep your blender and serving glasses ready.
  • Now take the grapes out of the freezer and place them in the blender.
  • Add the sugar lemon juice mixture.
  • Blend a little coarser and transfer to the serving glasses.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

The grapes should be frozen well enough before preparation.
I have not added ice for this recipe as the flavor of grape fruit may dilute. But if you still wish, you can add crushed ice.
