Sugarcane juice is a diuretic which means that it helps treat urinary tract infection, kidney stones and ensure proper functioning of the kidneys. According to Ayurveda sugarcane juice helps strengthen your liver and is thus suggested as a remedy for jaundice. In West Bengal interior village was covered with sugarcane plants. In my childhood I went there in summer holiday and saw, those people made sugarcane kheer. They made without adding milk, sugar or jaggery. Because juice itself sweet, so no need to add extra sweet.
