Beetroot Bliss Balls (Vegan And Paleo Recipe)

Bliss balls as the name suggests are blissful little packets loaded with energy that serve as the perfect guiltfree snacks.
They can also be swapped for your regular desserts as they usually have one or the other natural sweeteners added.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 beetroot medium sized
  • 1/3 cup coconut flour or oats flour
  • 10 dates deseeded
  • 3 teaspoon chia seeds
  • Coconut desiccated, for rolling

Instructions
 

  • Peel and grate the beetroot. Squeeze out the excess liquid.
  • Take the grated beetroot, oats flour, chia seeds and deserved dates in a blender jar. Buzz for 10-15 seconds to get everything together into a solid mass.
  • Refrigate for 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove from fridge, divide into 9 portions and roll each portion into a ball.
  • Place the dedicated coconut in a plate. Carefully roll each ball over it to coat uniformly.
  • Refrigerate for another 30 mins.
  • It is now ready to eat. Keep refrigerated and eat when those hunger pangs strike.

Notes

  • Add 2-3 drops vanilla essence or cacao powder if you do not like the smell of beets.
