Chia seeds are a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids and a very high source of antioxidants. They are among the healthiest foods on the planet, rich in antioxidants and full of fiber, magnesium, zinc, iron, and calcium. Loaded with nutrients, chia seeds can have important benefits for your body and brain, says Chef Dheeraj Singh, who has shared this recipe with us. According to the book "You Staying Young" by authors Roizen and Mehmet Oz, MD, two daily doses of 20 grams of chia seeds are recommended. Add them to yogurt, drinks, cakes, and breads to enjoy the benefits of chia seeds.
Soak Chia seeds in coconut water. Chia seeds love to clump when you get them wet.
Let sit for 30 minutes to allow the seeds to swell up.
Add lemon juice and honey to taste.
Shake well to combine.
Chill in fridge for few hours before you drink.
Garnish it with mint sprig and lemon slice.
