Peanut butter balls are no bake protein bites which can be eaten anytime. Tasty, healthy oatmeal protein balls make a perfect picnic snack or tiffin pack to carry. Let's see how to make oatmeal peanut butter balls in the following step by step photo recipe.
Start with roasting of the rolled oats - Heat the medium sized - skillet pan and Dry roast oats for 2 - 3 minutes, transfer to a plate and allow it to cool completely.
Dry roast flax seeds for 3-4 minutes or until it splutters. Allow this to cool completely and grind to a coarse powder.
In a large bowl, put all the dry ingredients with roasted oats going first followed by flax seeds powder, chocolate chips and raisins. Stir it with a spoon or spatula until well-incorporated.
Next pour in the wet ingredients with crunchy peanut butter going in first followed by honey and vanilla extract.
Mix well, till the wet ingredients disperse throughout the dry ingredients. Now take one tablespoon of the dough and make one-inch diameter balls out of the dough.
The oatmeal protein balls are ready to be placed in the refrigerator. Place all the balls in a tray, lined with parchment paper. Chill them for 1 hour.
