Recipe Notes
Additional Tips
- For a perfectly smooth texture, blend the hung curd and mango puree together until completely lump-free before adding the remaining ingredients; straining the mixture through a fine sieve can further enhance silkiness.
- If you prefer a firmer, cheesecake-like consistency, increase the steaming time by 5-10 minutes and allow the dessert to chill in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight before serving.
- For added flavor and visual appeal, garnish with diced fresh mango, chopped pistachios, or a light drizzle of saffron-infused milk just before serving.
- To make this dessert vegan, substitute hung curd with thick coconut yogurt and use coconut condensed milk for a tropical twist that complements the mango beautifully.
