Rava Chila For Breakfast

Daily challenge, first thing in the morning to decide.....what to make for breakfast. Repeatedly eating bread-butter, cornflakes, oily parantha, poori etc. is too conventional. Now bring more fun for your family members by surprising them with this Rava Chila. It is very easy and simple to cook.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Sooji or Rava
  • 1 Grated Potato I used raw potato
  • 1 Finely Chopped Onion
  • 2 Green Chillies chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped Coriander
  • Salt
  • Red Chilly powder
  • Oil
  • 1 Tea Spoon Cumin Seed
  • Water For Mixing

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl take Rava, grated potato, onions, green chillies, coriander, salt, chilly powder and cumin seeds
  • Mix all ingredients, add water to this and form a free flowing batter
  • Keep this batter aside for half an hour. (If you want your can even prepare a batter in night and keep it in fridge. In the morning you can use it for preparing chilas.)
  • Take a non-sticky pan or tava add few drops of oil on the pan and pour 1 bog spoon of batter on it and spread it like chila as shown in picture
  • Now cook it for few minutes and ten turn in and sprinkle few drops of oil and cook it from both the sides till it is properly cooked
  • hot tempting chila is ready. Serve it with Green Chutney, Tomato Sauce, Salad and Hot Tea.
